IVECO Crossway LE Line 12MIVECO Group N.V. / Turin, Italy / 2003-2013 marketed as Irisbus / 1975-Parent Model: IVECO Crossway LE I (all) Back to the list · Photos · Vehicle list City or Line? The platforms are NOT the difference, according to an experienced IVECO Crossway sales person I talked to. The ONLY difference is whether the bus is rated for class I or class II. Everything else (doors, seats, platforms, lower windows, etc) can be configured either way in both models. Class I buses are City. Class II buses are Line. It's very difficult to tell them apart visually. The ONLY certain identification is: Do they have SEATBELTS or PREPARATIONS FOR SEATBELTS? -> Yes: LINE / No: CITY. ALL buses with Ster city bus seats are City, as these are not offered with seatbelts. Also, it should also say in the vehicle documents if its class I or II. IVECO has an internal system for these infos, not accessible to the public. Way too many of the models listed as City/Line on here are wrong. Also, the difference is pointless — even the Crossway sales person said so. It all depends on the configuration anyway. PS: Yes, its the same situation with Line/Pop/Pro/HV on the high-floor Crossways. Number by CityIn the “Quantity” column: all vehicles / in service only.
