Not only for the bus - the driver's also. He retired with his bus. This Ikarus was planned to be museum bus, but after a few attacks on it by teenagers while it was standing near depot fence it was decided not to revive it. In 2014 it was still in quite a good shape, it was possible to turn the engine on. In 2015 first attack happened, kids broke all the windows on the door side, but still there was a possibility for a revival. In the late 2015s it was vandalized even more, then in 2016 last attack happened which kinda set the tone for the worst. It was fully vandalized, parts were stolen. When I was in the depot in May 11th of 2016, talked to the staff, and they said it will be scrapped in a week's time. That was the last time I saw it. It was very sad to see this happening, and even sadder that, if I'm not mistaking Museum from Molėtai was interested in buying it, even in that bad shape, but they were late.
