Yes, from 30 old A23 CNG there are only 6 left in Nürnberg at the moment. Most of these busses could have a new life, but except of 3 pices (740,741,743) that went to Ukraine, every other was scrapped.

I can well imagine that the 3 Gas Lion's were an exception, i.e. that their condition was still okay. VAG is not known for really maintaining old buses (in this case the CNG lions), which could explain why they are scraped after retirement.

At the end of the day, you don't know what the problems are with all the gas lions, they're pretty old even with the 2007 model and are certainly plagued by a lot of problems.
