Such photos always make me wonder why we can't just join transphoto and busphoto together...

1) There were some vague rumors about the merging of Transphoto and Fotobus, since they share the majority of admin team and CIS community

2) However, Fotobus' senior admin and a large part of Fotobus users doesn't like Transphoto' approach to pictures, they strongly dislike all creative approach to it, the whole "photo contest" thing. In return, many-many Transphoto users have a strong resentment towards buses in general, due to an increased amount of tram/trolleybus systems being shut down and replaced by buses in recent years, most famous example being Moscow trolleybus

3) Although Transphoto and Busphoto have same database concept (based on cities, while Fotobus is based on regions), merging with them is very unlikely, since database of most russian cities is expired with minor exceptions. Considering all differences, Transphoto users woukd rather merge with more popular bus site, i'm afraid. It's hard to bring CIS community here, sloppy and sometimes unfair* photo moderation doesn't help

* - there are cases when low quality european pictures were accepted and mid quality belarusian, russian pictures rejected, due to the language barrier, admin was unable to explain the rules in English and didn't want to scare them off, i guess. It also happens right now, but in a smaller degree. Also i believe that many decisions against couple users were made entirely personal-biased
