Im Spätsommer 2023 gab es am Wochenende einen Busnotverkehr auf den Linien RE 87/88 zwischen Lauda und Craisheim. Für die knapp 80 Kilometer lange Strecke brauchte der Bus an die 2 Stunden mit Aufenthaltszeiten in Weikersheim und Schrozberg. Zum Einsatz kam an den zwei Tagen N-YZ 719, welcher seinerzeit in der OVF-Einsatzstelle Höchberg für einen noch nicht gelieferten Gelenkbus herhielt.
