Die Bestellung des Busses erfolgte bei der Evobus Ndl Hamburg. Der Bus wurde am 22.12.2000 ausgeliefert. Mit der VIN WEB62810013098482 gab es einen zweiten Bus in der fortlaufenden Bestellnummer, ebenfalls am 22.12.2000 ausgeliefert. Die Farben der beiden Citaro L waren perlweiß (RAL 1013) und rubinrot (RAL 3003).
