Behold: An Eurobus AV 120 L, the even rarer intercity version of the already rare Croatian-made Eurobus AV 120 coach. Only 24 were ever built, and as far as we know this is one of just two still in existence.
Like all Eurobus models, it has the initials of the company's founder Aleksej Aleksandrov stamped into the front, although on this particular one they seem to have been painted over by a five-year-old...

A side quest for our Balkan roadtrip was to find some of the legendary Eurobus AV 120, of which only very few are left in existence. We knew of this AV120 L in the fleet of Centroprevoz, but didn't see it at their depot. After being told that the driver usually parks it in his village north of Goražde, we started searching the area — after 20 minutes, I was just about to give up and said "they’d never drive a bus up this narrow road anyways", when we came around a bend and were greeted by this delightful sight…

When asking people and Centroprevoz employees in Goražde about the "Eurobus", nobody knew what we were talking about. When we asked about "the bus with the shitty plastic seats", everybody understood... :)
